New research led by the University of East London (UEL), in partnership with Kinder, found that even brief shared play can quickly strengthen family connection—bringing parents and children closer physically and emotionally within seconds.

And the effects continued after play—families remained closer and conversation stayed more in-tune—highlighting that meaningful connection doesn’t require long periods of time, just presence and simple, shared play moments.
